Wendy Pearson

Wendy Pearson, Senior Project Manager, has been with the firm for over ten years. She manages toxic torts, property damage cases, PRP cost allocation cases, insurance recovery claims, and NRD cases. Prior to joining the firm, Wendy worked as an engineer for the City of Santa Fe. She provided governing bodies with technical analyses and recommendations concerning proposed development projects. Wendy has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Penn State, and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Oregon Graduate Institute of Science and Technology.

Carolina Szpak Chamecki

Carolina Szpak Chamecki is a Research Engineer. She has several years of experience designing water distribution and wastewater collection systems, including construction management of industrial waste water treatment plants. Carolina has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Parana Federal University in Brazil, an M.S. in Environmental Planning and Management from Johns Hopkins University, and also attended the Falcudades Integradas Curitiba Law School in Brazil.

Robert Parette

Robert Parette is a Senior Research Engineer on litigation projects. He has 10 years of research experience in the areas of water contamination and remediation. His doctoral thesis focused on the removal of perchlorate from groundwater via quaternary ammonium cationic surfactant tailored activated carbon. In addition, Bob serves as the Vice President of Engineering for Matson Biofuels. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and an M.S. and Ph.D. from Penn State University in Environmental Engineering.

John Goreham

John Goreham is a Research Associate. Prior to joining M&A, John acquired several years’ experience in the fields of hydrology and ecohydraulics while employed at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and the Desert Research Institute. He contributed to a wide range of research projects related to the sustainable management of water and the environment. John has a B.S. in Agriculture from New Mexico State University where he majored in Soil Science and a M.S. in Water Resources Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Eric Chase

Eric Chase is a Research Associate. He has worked in the water resources field for ten years and over that time has managed a variety of water resource projects, including multi-year irrigation and stream flow investigations. Eric received his BS in Geology from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. After graduating he worked in environmental consulting in California for three years before returning to school at Colorado State University. In 2005, he obtained his MS in Watershed Science and shortly thereafter began working as a Hydrologist for the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation.

Stacey Triplett

Stacey Triplett is a Research Associate, focused mainly on the production of biodiesel with solid catalysts for Matson Biofuels. She received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University in 2010. While at Penn State, Stacey served as a Research Assistant and Laboratory Safety Assistant in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Stacey has previous research experience in the area of groundwater remediation.
