M&A has over thirty years of experience working on large-scale and small-scale environmental disputes. Our experts have been retained by plaintiffs and defendants in state court and federal court throughout the U.S. Dr. Jack Matson and Dr. Robert Parette are environmental engineers that specialize in environmental forensics, environmental engineering, and industry and regulatory standards. Mr. Eric Chase’s expertise is in geology and hydrology.
Dr. Matson began his expert witness career testifying at administrative hearings in the mid-1970s and has been deposed in over 100 cases and testified at 20 trials. For over 15 years M&A’s staff has been conducting research to support Dr. Matson with preparing his expert report, as well as assisting him with preparing for deposition and trial. M&A’s staff also provides research support for Dr. Parette and Mr. Chase; both have been retained in disputes involving water issues. Mr. Chase has testified at several administrative hearings concerning water use.
M&A works closely with its clients to provide technical assistance on complex environmental and scientific issues. We are also skilled at identifying innovative strategies and sources for obtaining crucial information when data and documents concerning case facts are limited.
