Hexavalent Chromium Emissions from Three PG&E Gas Compressor Stations
M&A was retained on behalf of communities adjacent to three gas compressor stations in California to investigate company practices concerning hexavalent chromium use and emissions from dozens of cooling towers. M&A reconstructed hexavalent chromium emissions from the cooling towers to the air and soil and provided opinions on whether PG&E met the industry standard of care based on industry practices, company policies, and historical regulations. M&A provided deposition testimony; the case settled prior to trial.
