M&A was retained by a group of insurance carriers in an insurance recovery case concerning PCB contamination of a river in the mid-west that has been undergoing remedial investigations and remediation for over two decades. We examined a vast array of materials concerning company policies and practices, industry standards, and federal and state regulations. M&A provided opinions on whether the company knew PCB discharges from a paper manufacturing facility had contributed to environmental contamination. M&A provided deposition testimony.
