PCB Contamination of Big Spring Creek, Montana

M&A was retained by property owners along a stream in Montana famous for its fly fishing that became contaminated with PCBs from its use in paint at Big Springs trout hatchery. We utilized our expertise on the chemistry of PCBs and the historical uses of PCBs to provide opinions on whether the manufacturer met a reasonable standard of care in the formulation and marketing of PCBs for certain uses.
